Alyson MacKay // Operations Coordinator
Alyson supports our day-to-day operations with a strong focus on volunteer support and development, working with a range of functions to make sure we have the right administrative and project management support. She has a background and degree in Sustainable Event Management and has worked and volunteered with many youth organisations. Alyson grew up as a young carer in the North East Highlands and is passionate about representing underserved groups worldwide. She worked in hospitality for 12 years and uses her customer service and people management skills for projects and events. In her own time, Alyson volunteers across a range of green groups and climate campaigns, she also enjoys making a peaceful world where everyone gets along in the Sims.
Rosie Cooper // Development and Communications Support Officer
Rosie has a diverse background in the arts & cultural third sector and brings experience in creative development, communications, and funding to her role. Her passion lies in public engagement, community learning & sustainability. She has an MSc in International Festival & Event Management and has previously worked for the Fife Cultural Trust, the Scottish Book Trust, and the Edinburgh International Book Festival delivering creative projects & events, supporting funding development, and administrative support, and leading environmental initiatives as the Green Champion. Rosie is also a 2050 Young Leaders Development Programme Alumni, having completed the programme in 2020. Outside of work, Rosie enjoys exploring the outdoors with her young family, tending to her garden, and cultivating mindfulness through yoga practice.
